1. Overview

Nizer Spiti is a locally owned and operated ecommerce business based in Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh. We specialize in handmade handicrafts that reflect the culture, tradition, and natural bounty of our region.

We aim to provide only the best quality products and ensure full customer satisfaction. However, as some of our products are handmade, or custom-packed, our refund and cancellation policies are designed accordingly.


2. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Before Dispatch:
    Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of placing the order or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.
    To request cancellation, please email us at nizerspiti@gmail.com with your order ID and reason for cancellation.

  • After Dispatch:
    Once an order has been shipped, we cannot cancel it. You may still be eligible for a refund under our return policy (see below).

  • Custom or Made-to-Order Products:
    Cancellation is not permitted for handcrafted or personalized items once production has begun.


3. Return & Refund Policy

We accept returns and issue refunds only in specific cases, as many of our products are handmade. In case of any refund is approved it will take 6 -7 business days to get credited to your original payment method.

Eligible for Return or Refund:

A product is eligible for return or replacement if:

  • It was damaged during transit.

  • You received a wrong or missing item.

  • The product is spoiled, contaminated, or tampered with upon delivery (photo/video proof required).

Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items:

  • Dairy products, beverages, honey, and other perishable or temperature-sensitive foods.

  • Opened or used products.

  • Items returned without original packaging or beyond 2 days of delivery.

  • Handmade handicrafts that have minor imperfections — as these are part of the product’s artisanal nature.

How to Request a Refund:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery via email (nizerspiti@gmail.com) with:

    • Order ID

    • Description of issue

    • Photos/videos as evidence

  2. Our support team will review your request and confirm eligibility.

  3. If approved, a replacement or refund will be processed within 5–7 working days.

Refund Mode:

  • Refunds will be credited to your original payment method (bank, UPI, or wallet).

  • In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer upon verification.


4. Shipping Damages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please:

  • Take clear photos/videos before opening.

  • Reject delivery if possible and inform us immediately at nizerspiti@gmail.com.
    We will investigate with the courier partner and ensure a suitable resolution.


5. Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic proof. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.


6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after 7 business days:

  • Check your bank or payment account.

  • Contact your payment provider (some take extra processing time).

  • If still unresolved, contact us at nizerspiti@gmail.com with your refund reference.
