Day 1: Drive from Shimla to Kafnu (208 km / 7-8 Hours)
Meet at the designated point in Shimla by 7:00 AM. Board the vehicle and drive to Kafnu via Narkanda and Rampur. Kafnu is a charming hamlet in the Bhaba Valley of Kinnaur. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay, as your trek begins tomorrow.


Day 2: Trek from Kafnu to Mulling (3,100m)
After a hearty breakfast, embark on the Bhaba Pass trek route. Walk through apple orchards and an easy forested section. The moderate trail takes about 6 hours to reach the Mulling meadows. Enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Overnight stay in tents.


Day 3: Trek from Mulling (3,100m) to Kara (3,550m)
Brace yourself for fun river crossings using natural bridges. Enjoy views of vibrant alpine flowers and may encounter local shepherds in traditional attire. After a steady climb, arrive at the Kara meadow, with stunning views of peaks bordering Kinnaur and Spiti. Overnight stay in tents.


Day 4: Trek from Kara (3,550m) to Phustirang (4,000m)
Trek from Kara along the river’s left bank to Phustirang, enjoying breathtaking scenery. Witness the mighty Hansbeshan Peak (5,840m). Reach the campsite by early evening and unwind. Overnight stay in tents.


Day 5: Trek from Phustirang (4,000m) to Bhaba Pass (4,850m) to Baldar (3,900m)
Begin with an ascent to Bhaba Pass. Be prepared for a steep path and potentially heavy snow, requiring extra strength and time. At the top, enjoy magnificent views of mountain ranges and the famous Pin Parvati Pass. After a short halt, descend towards Spiti. The terrain transforms into colorful grasslands and mountains distinctive of Spiti. Overnight stay in tents.


Day 6: Trek from Baldar (3,900m) to Mudh (3,740m); Drive to Mane (3,650m)
Enjoy a lighter trek to Mudh through breathtaking terrain—purple-hued mountains, the meandering Pin River, and endless open spaces. Explore the charming hamlet of Mudh before driving to Mane (approximately 2 hours). Check into a hotel, refresh, and enjoy an overnight stay.


Day 7: Drive from Mane (3,650m) to Manali
After breakfast, begin a scenic drive towards Manali via Kunzum La. Pass through traditional hamlets, witness indigenous culture, and continue towards Manali via the Atal Tunnel. This marks the end of your Bhaba Pass Trek.

  • Accommodation: One night in a cultural homestay at Yangpa. All nights on the trek in sturdy, high-quality, four-season tents (twin-sharing).

  • All Meals on Trek: Nutritious and delicious freshly prepared meals from dinner at Yangpa on Day 1 to dinner at Mudh on Day 7. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.

  • Top-Quality Safety & Camping Gear: All essential group gear including four-season tents, custom sleeping bags (-10°C rated), sleeping mats, and safety equipment like micro-spikes or gaiters as required.

  • Medical & Safety Infrastructure: Comprehensive first-aid kits, portable and large stationary oxygen cylinders, and staff trained in high-altitude emergency response.

  • Permits & Fees: All necessary trekking permits, forest fees, and garbage disposal charges.

  • Transport to/from Trek Base: Travel from your hometown to Shimla and from Manali back is not included. We can arrange reliable transport:

    • Shimla to Yangpa: Approx. ₹1,500 + 5% GST per person.

    • Mudh to Manali: Approx. ₹2,400 + 5% GST per person.

  • Meals During Road Travel: Any meals consumed during the drive to Yangpa or from Mudh to Manali.

  • Personal Trekking Gear: Backpacks, trekking shoes, jackets, personal cutlery, etc. (These can often be rented—inquire for details).

  • Backpack Offloading: We encourage carrying your own pack. However, if required due to injury or health, offloading can be arranged for an additional fee (approx. ₹5,600 + GST for the trek, max 9 kg).

  • Trek Insurance: A mandatory trek insurance fee is required, as most standard medical policies do not cover high-altitude adventure activities.

  • Personal Expenses: Tips, souvenirs, bottled water, or any costs not explicitly mentioned in the “Inclusions.”

  • Fitness & Preparation: This is a Difficult grade trek. It requires excellent physical fitness, prior high-altitude trekking experience, and thorough preparation. We provide a detailed fitness guide upon booking.

  • Health & Age Protocols: Trekkers aged 58 and above are required to submit a satisfactory Treadmill Test (TMT) report within 7 days of registration to ensure cardiovascular readiness.

  • Acknowledgment of Risk: Trekking is an adventure sport with inherent risks including extreme weather, altitude sickness (AMS, HAPE, HACE), wildlife encounters, and rough terrain. By registering, you acknowledge these risks and declare yourself medically and physically fit.

  • Code of Conduct: For safety, the consumption of alcohol, smoking, or recreational drugs is strictly prohibited on the trek. Violation will result in immediate removal from the expedition without refund.

  • Cancellation Policy: We have a structured cancellation policy. For unforeseen trek cancellations by us due to external factors (weather, landslides, government orders), we offer a voucher for a future trek. For an additional fee, you can opt for a “Shield” that provides a full refund in such specific cancellation scenarios.
